Mass Tort Litigation
While Clark and Clark is a general practice law firm and handles a number of probate and domestic relations matters, it has, since the late 1980's, participated in the following mass tort litigations:
- First, in successfully representing over 200 Plaintiffs in a mass toxic tort case filed and eventually settled in the United States District Court For The Southern District of Mississippi.
- Clark and Clark handled over 500 claims in the still ongoing Silicone Gel Breast Implant (MDL-926) Class Action Litigation, which started in 1992. Many of those claims have now been settled with the exception of those still pending in the Dow Corning Bankruptcy in Midland, Michigan. We anticipate the final settlement of those claims eventually.
